While in treatment, each client receives an individualized mental health treatment plan that is evaluated on a regular basis by members of the multidisciplinary treatment team directed by the client’s psychiatrist.
Program features include:
- Daily psychotherapy groups
- Behavioral management
- On-site schooling
- Communication, socialization and anger management groups
- Recreation therapy
- Discharge Planning
- Individual treatment plans
- Substance abuse counseling
- Milieu therapy
- Nutrition education
- Safe and clean environment
Discharge planning is implemented upon admission to ensure our clients will be successful in follow-up care once they have completed the program. Upon discharge, each client receives a written recommendation plan for aftercare. Del Amo believes the best guarantee for our client’s success is effective discharge planning that will meet each individual’s needs.
