A letter from our CEO
To our community,
I want to thank all the dedicated and hardworking staff and physicians at Del Amo Hospital for taking great care of patients during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. This has been a difficult time for everyone. I am extremely proud of our team for being present and helping our community take care of our behavioral health needs. Our hospital is full of “Healthcare Heroes”. During this time of uncertainty and stay at home orders, many people have been isolated, depressed and in need of support. Many have been afraid to seek services due to fear of COVID-19. I applaud those who have, and continue to, reach out for help. It is available and we are here to help.
As we celebrate National Mental Health Awareness Month, Nursing Week and Hospital Week in May, please take the time to thank all those who are providing our community with healthcare services. My staff and staff in other hospitals are dedicated to helping others and, at most times, putting the needs of others ahead of their own. They suit up and show up to work to take care of all of us. I am grateful to each and every one of our “Healthcare Heroes”.
Please reach out if you have any behavioral health needs or need to talk. Call us at 800-533-5266. We are part of the community and here to help.
Steven Hytry, Psy.D.
