The outpatient psychiatric programs at Del Amo are designed to treat those who would benefit from treatment services within a highly structured and supervised setting, but they don’t necessarily need inpatient care.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Patients who have completed an inpatient program are often stepped down into Partial Hospitalization. Other patients may be experiencing difficulty coping with stressors in everyday life. This program is for them too. The Partial Hospitalization Program meets four hours a day from Monday through Friday.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Used as a transition from the Partial Hospitalization Program, or for those who are in need of less restrictive programming, the Intensive Outpatient Program is tailored to each patient’s specific needs. The program meets three times per week for three hours.

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a specialized program that provides comprehensive evaluation and intensive treatment for adolescents between the ages of 13-17 years old.
