Legacy Senior Mental Health Program

Depression, anxiety, grief and changes in cognitive functioning can be challenging for older adults. The Legacy Program at Del Amo Hospital addresses the specific needs of senior adults (55+) that require intensive behavioral health care as they adjust with major life transitions. Our goal is to help patients improve coping skills and gain the insight and tools to help restore, maintain and enhance their quality of life. Our providers are educated and trained in assessing and treating the behavioral health needs of older adults. Our interdisciplinary treatment team consists of psychiatrists, medical internists, nurses, social workers, adjunctive therapists, registered dieticians and other mental health professionals who focus on assessing, stabilizing, rehabilitating and transitioning the individual to a positive quality of life living

Specialized treatment includes:
